This is real kimchi.
No substitutions if you want Korean authentic kimchi.Taste: It’s a fermented dish. It’s sour, somewhat spicy, umami, and tangy. The flavor will change as it ferments more.It’s made of canned food, so it’s easy to eat anytime, anywhere.delivering high-quality products from Korea.

It’s different and I like it.
I’m not sure if some people are complaining because their expectations were too high or because they received a bad batch. I got this when it was on sale and with a coupon, so it was really cheap. It definitely tastes different from the jarred kimchis that I’m used too. It’s not as firm or tangy. It also take into consideration that it’s stir fried so maybe that’s part of why it isn’t as tangy. It tastes really good with my food though. I’ll definitely buy it again if there’s a sale. I wouldn’t buy it at full price because I get more in a jar. If I was going on a camping trip or something, I would find these small cans very convenient.

Really like it in ramen
For what ever reason, this particular kimchi, when mixed with Samyang ramen in particular, is super super good. If you get a chance to try it I would 100% recommend, although you miiiiiight be able to find it for a little better price on sites more dedicated to this sort of product.

I don’t know if Koreans prefer SWEET kimchi if they “stir fry” it
The kimchi tastes absurdly different from those I had before, they look the same but this one does not taste spicy and what so ever – surprisingly it tastes sweet! Sweet like a cake! I reviewed the package where it says “stir fried”. Alright, that may rationalize the difference.

The first ingredient is sugar, are you kidding me? I can handle the softness, but spice it up! No sugar! Will not buy again.

Convenient food staple
Convenient to use – I used to stirfry my own kimchi as banchan but this is way more convenient to use. It’s also not as spicy and more sweeter side

Sweet and crunchy
I am just getting into eating Kimchi. Trust me if it is repulsive I would say so. It is sweeter than the other brands. I ate it with rice. Price is understandable being shipped from Korea.

Kimchi with superior flavor
Very tasty kimchi. I kept meaning to add it to rice but ended up just eating straight out of the can. Couldn’t stop myself. More on order. I intend to keep this in my cupboard.
