So much fun!
I haven’t played with LEGO’s for over 2 decades. As I started expanding my Batman collection, I decided to get this Batmobile. It was so much fun! It was really surprising to realize how relaxing it was to do this project. Total build time for me was 13 hours. Highly recommend for any Batman and/or LEGO fans.

Second set was perfect
Edit: second set was perfect. This was the most fun I’ve had on a build yet. Such a cool set! Watching it come together was quite enjoyable.I’ve never had a defective Lego set before, but several of the pieces were warped to the point that the blocks didn’t line up as needed on step 106. At first I thought I made a mistake, so I broke everything down and started again…only to run into the same issue on the same step. Here’s hoping the replacement doesn’t have the same issue.

A must for fans
Stars reflected what I thought of the whole set and it was well designed and built. anything lego is thought out well. Amazon price was steep so turned elsewhere and it was a bit less on hint e**y. returned and bought from e**y. I have bought a 1989 Batmobile kit that was a MOC kit from non lego parts but its not designed as well as this, the parts on MOC kit didn’t fit as good as lego branded bricks. I was thrilled when lego came out with this set, I literally went and looked and saw and bought not realizing the price was better on e**y.

I loved building the Batmobile that I grew up with
Fantastic set, very detailed. Took over 12 hours to assemble.Cons: There were a few steps that seemed out of order causing some difficulty, a few of the exterior details are kinda fragile, it’d be cool if the gun covers were hinged instead of removable, and the mini figs are a smaller scale than the car.Pros: It’s huge, stands out in any room it’s displayed in, was a blast to put together, and the rotating stand is perfect.I’d love to see LEGO come out with official light kits. I installed one that just does the front and back lights, adds a lot to it.

Approximate Lego box size and weight: 22.75L x 14.75W x 6.25H, 10 Lbs. Really nice pics of Batmobile on box. Shipped in Amz box, but had a small dent in Lego box. Not bought for investment, otherwise I would have exchanged until I got a mint condition one. All higher priced Lego sets should be packaged for shipping like the Lego #75292 Star Wars Mandalorian The Razor Crest, with its own sized-to-fit outer box to protect the Lego box inside.

Greatest LEGO Set for the Greatest Batmobile!!!
Greatest LEGO set I’ve ever put together!!! I grew up on the Michael Keaton Batman and this was a MUST have and it did not disappoint!!! My son and I have the greatest time over two days putting it together!!! ADVICE: Do not use the book provided. Use your tablets or computer to pull up the pdf instructions. By using our iPads, my son could stay one step ahead as he found the pieces needed and then I would assemble them. Sped up our production time by hours I would say.

Movie Accurate and A Blast to Build
When I got this I was a little hesitant. I’ve scene the 1989 film multiple times so every detail of this Batmobile is ingrained in my memory. This certainly delivers. I think the best feature is that they actually managed to find a way to incorporate the panels popping off and the machine guns coming up. It’s awesome. One complaint at least for my kit is the steering wheel seems to dift to the left a bit. You’d only notice if you were looking for it. Definitely recommend if you like the 1989 movie.

Very challenging.
I’m a senior and I loved doing models as a kid. Covid is keeping me indoors and isolated for health reasons. I rediscovered model building. My five grandsons all loved, and the three youngest still love building LEGO so a few months ago I started giving it a try. I’ve done the London double decker bus, the Harley-Davidson motorcycle,the Bugatti Chiron and now the Batmobile. This is by far the most challenging. I was in over 300 steps and realized something was off by one dimple on one side. The lesson learned was to make sure to be precise, and follow the directions exactly. I needed to deconstruct all the way back to the chassis base and start over again from step 30. I found where I had errored at step 107. I spent 20 days (about 4 to 6 hrs a day) on this. Great fun and I can’t wait to see the six year old and ten year olds faces when I present the completed model to them on Hanukkah.

Darn near life-sized
Before you buy this, just know it’s big. It’s a little bit longer than an IKEA Billy bookcase is wide, so don’t go thinking you’re going to display it there.The details captured by its enormous size are remarkable. That Batmobile is nothing but curves, and through a really creative use of pieces and several building techniques that dance right on the cusp of being illegal, so is this Lego set.The downside of it being such a large set is that, at roughly double minifig scale, the three included minifigs can’t ride in it. Well, they can, but they’re so much smaller than the seat, they look ridiculous. Batman can’t even do that much. His cape, gloriously billowing, prevents him from doing anything but striking a heroic pose.Total build time was about 10 enjoyable hours, spread out over three days, 24 numbered bags, and 619 total steps. Most of the decorated pieces use stickers, though 7 have designs pre-printed on them. You’ll wind up with a working steering system, machine guns that raise/lower using the rear jet turbine, and a sliding cockpit canopy. The instruction book might have benefitted from being spiral-bound, and suffers from a lack of contrast between black, dark gray, and brown pieces. Unless you’re working under really bright lights, you’re going to grab the wrong color piece a few times, and then have to backtrack later. Just accept it as part of the process. It’s worth it.

Product arrived in good condition. The box has a few scuff marks but that is to be expected for a retired LEGO product (that’s been retired for a number of years). Overall, this is an A+ transaction and I’d do business again. Shipping was expeditious. Zero complaints

Well worth it
I’m only two bags in of 24 and it’s awesome. The effort and detail they put into making this a true representation of the 89 film’s style is outlined in the start of the 400+ page manual. It’s going to take some time and I’m going to love it.

This is a fun built.
Still building. This is a good one to start and take your time with. There are 25 numbered bags and 2 bags are pieces that you might need that weren’t in the numbered bags.
