Great Build
This set was on sale on Amazon for about $135 when I bought it. It was a steal at that price with Prime. The set itself is awesome. There’s a lot of cool new pieces that aren’t in most sets. You get a variety of animals and items. The actual set has a really nice design to it. I was really impresses how far lego went with actual detail. There is also tons of room to place minifgures inside. I recommend over any of the other creator sets out there. Definitely most bang for your buck.

Box was unsealed; open.
Inside the shipping package, the Lego box was not sealed. As far as I could determine, all of the pouches of pieces were in the box. But the end of the box had been taped with scotch type tape, which had come loose.It appears that the box was opended, closed with tape and then in the shipping that end came open again.So the product seems to be great, but I wonder if I received all 2000+ pieces?

One of the nicest Lego Creator builds… probably the niceset right now
Check out the YouTube video reviews of the ‘Pet Shop’ and you will see most agree this is the best Creator build. Since we purchased this one and the Expert Winter Village Cottage based on YouTube video reviews, I can only say they were both every bit as satisfying as we had expected. Bonus: the sets will probably go out of production in a few years and become valuable to collectors (think double). What other toys can you enjoy and then sell for considerably more than you paid, allowing you to move on to the next generation? Nice!

This is a great set. My four year old put it together …
This is a great set. My four year old put it together with ease in about four sittings. He enjoyed the detail of the apartment and loved the way it looks assembled. Lego seems to be a bit conservative on their ages. If your child is interested in buildings and can follow the simple instructions that lego includes with the set, there is no reason why a younger child can’t assemble this set.

Very detailed
These LEGO kits are always amazing because they are so detailed. After you build it, you can remove each floor to see inside. This is the 3rd set I have purchased like this for my 10 yo son. While expensive, it’s worth it vs. being stuck on the tablet!

Great for family bonding
Great set. It was a fun, family bonding event to fix this up with my son. It took us over 2 days during the weekend to fix it up. Together with the other modulars, like Grand Emporium and Fire brigade, this makes a great set. Just got back into Lego after the “dark ages”. After doing some extensive research, I found that the modulars are highly satisfying due to the following reasons:1. Big sets, lots of detail2. The newer modulars have a “story” (see Detective’s Office)3. High resell value (especially when new, see Green Grocer)4. and I love the set
Just be careful WHO you buy this from… the seller (High Trade) portrayed this set as “new”, and I took him at his word and gave him a positive feedback review….HOWEVER… after further review the “new” set was MISSING a base plate… High Trade’s solution was for me to “BUY” a new base plate from LEGO. I did, and I love the set… but just DO NOT buy from this vendor…

Love the set
If you are a collector and order large sets, make sure they put the lego box inside another box, otherwise your lego box will be damaged. It took 3 tries to finally send the set in a box. First one they sent had shipping label directly on the box, that one was returned, second one they sent was in a plastic bag so no shipping label, but box was badly damaged, third time was the lucky charm came in a box.I’m impressed that amazon went to that much effort to make sure I was happy and happy I am, but next time I will insist they ship in a box to avoid all the hassle.

9 year old completes in 2 days!
I have a 9 year old. He has been yearning for the set for ages. I was very hesitant to buy because the 16+ rating and the number of pieces….and the price! I was convinced to buy the set for his 9th birthday! He had completed the whole thing in 2 days, working after school only! He had no help from any adult, whatsoever! The only help he accepted was to have his brother search for a missing peice! It is done … In exactly 2 days! Now, he is playing with it like a play house.

love it!
this is my sixth modular building in my collection love it! But I’m very disappointed that the brownstone didn’t have any furnishings at all just a painter BIG disappointment going to have to make my own I guess. My favorite build has been assembly square 10255.

This pet shop is extremely adorable
My 7-year-old grandson put this together in three day. The directions are straight-forward and easy to understand. While he has built many Lego themes and is a little pro, the pet shop is easy enough to understand. It seems to stay together well so it is also fun to play with.Now that the pet shop is fully completed, I must tell you that it is quite amazing and very detailed both inside and out. My 7-year-old tells me it was so much fun to put together. The adults in the household were quite taken with the cuteness of entire building. We took several photos of each level from the inside out. Worth the money.

Are You Kidding It is a Lego product!
What can I say! Of course this is a stupendous product. My son still builds these, (and shhhh he is thirty and works a very stressful corporate job). He has many of the city sets and duplicates of several. These fill his need to create , relax and I think re-live a bit of childhood in a sea of work days and responsibilities. They are so well thought out in design and have such amazing tiny details . He loves lego, I love that he does, and I will continue to buy this great product for him. I hope more come out in this particular series. The detailed buildings such as these are by far his favorites. Ah yes..as far as educational..please, it is one of the few toys left that allow you to build as it was designed, and then as we do …take them apart and re-design with your own ideas.

Fun set to build!
Although I have only finished half of this set so far, it is fun to build! I’ll sit down to work on it for just 20 minutes and end up working on it until I have to pull myself away from it, often after an hour. The details included in this set are great including the painting Lego man. When I complete this set, I plan to put it on display and continue adding more of the downtown modular buildings Lego has to offer. I would recommend anyone who loves Lego to get this set, but get it before they are completely sold out!

I love these legos I’ve collectedthe whole series of them they have. Always so much fun to build. Lego is great hardly ever a piece missing or damaged and if you do have one they make sure to get sent to tYou right away.

I loved this set
I loved this set. I gave it to my two sons and it was great because they were each able to build their own side. Axel built the Pet Shop and Audrick built the townhouse. They got to enjoy building it without fighting with each other over whose turn it was. (They are 7 and 9). It took them both 2 days to build although they never wanted to stop. I had to force them to go to bed. For myself, I loved the architectural creativity and look forward to purchasing more. My boys added it to their ‘Lego City’ and like to show it off to their friends.

So cute!
I bought this as a project for my 12 year old granddaughter and I to work on while she stayed with me for a few days. The instructions were great, I organized all of the like parts, and she put it together without any difficulty. The detail is amazing, and we both enjoyed building our project. I thought it would take longer to build, but we built it in two days. The smiles I saw on her face from seeing the box for the first time, discovering how to build each floor through putting the last brick in place were worth every penny it costs. It’s really cute. We enjoyed it so much, I ordered the Parisian Restaurant for our next project. The quality was superb!

I bought this set for some fun to do
I bought this set for some fun to do. In the end I wound up falling in love with it. The simplistic yet modern feel to the look and the small details are amazing. It took a good two days to put together (each one takes about a good 2-3 hrs to do). Though The only thing I wish is that you could access the floors without having to take off each level. Otherwise it is a fun addition to anyone’s LEGO city or even just as a nice display for the LEGO lovers.(Pictures to be added later)
